J & M Remodel Wins Angie’s List Super Service Awards
for 2013, Our Fifth Consecutive Year
We have had a relationship with J&M for six years. And yes, they deliver high-quality work at a fair price. And yes, their attention to detail and customer service is exceptional. But what puts Justin and his team into a class of their own is that they stand by their work 100%. Justin's willingness to show up, troubleshoot and solve problems long after the initial work was complete gave me absolute trust in him and his work. Thank you, Justin and the wonderful crew for making our master bathroom so beautiful.
J&M remodeled 3 bathrooms for us and far exceeded our expectations. Their work was of the highest quality as was the professionalism of the staff. They were responsive to our requests and provided great advice that resulted in 3 uniquely different bathrooms. Should we decide to undertake further projects, J&M will be our choice.
I have worked with a number of construction companies, both for personal needs and as a Realtor. J & M is by far one of the top companies. They do excellent work, clean up after themselves everyday, and on my project, the final amount was less than the estimate. How often does that happen? Our project was making some changes to our basement to create an ADU.
We redid our master bathroom - tore it down to the studs, knocked down a wall, full tile, glass shower - the works.Top three things we looked for in a contractor (1) finish on time, (2) communicate regularly and (3) be neat. Having done home renovations (while living in the house) before, these were must haves. J&M nailed all three. They finished their work a week early. They explained the plan for the week at the start of the week and communicated next weeks plan at the end of every week. Finally, they cleaned up after themselves every day.The only challenge we had was our fault. We used a designer and acquired the materials through their suppliers. We ended up short on tile and had to reorder which took a week. J&M just worked around it. Our major issue was a miscommunication between me and my wife which lead to the counter tops coming in a week late. Totally our issue, no issue with J&M. This leads me to the pointer. If you haven't ordered your materials yet, and J&M can get what you want, order through them and they will sync timeline.Overall, very happy with J&M. We have already slotted our next project with them in December. And will be using them for a kitchen update sometime next year.
“I'd previously hired J and M Remodel a few years back, and given their excellent work at that time, didn't hesitate to hire them again for this more extensive job. They did not disappoint - and in fact, exceeded my already high expectations.”“.… let me reiterate that I am blown away by the difference between how it looked when you started the job and how it looks now.”“… As for the work on the house, Russell is a star, as is his assistant Bob, and I appreciate everything they've done on the house with so much care and attention to detail. After Justin left the house following my meeting with him last Wednesday, his crew talked about what a great guy Justin is, and how much they liked working with and for him - and they didn't know I was listening at the time. It's a testament to how good Justin is at what he does that his own employees sing his praises like that when he's not around to hear them do it!I'm so glad I found you two and J&M Remodel to work on the house, and appreciate it more every time I come up there. Thanks for everything.”
Brandon did a great job on our bathroom remodel. He did several follow ups to ensure there were no loose ends. The remodel took a bit longer than we would have liked but overall, we are very happy with the results.

…a simply outstanding job.

J & M Remodel: “I am writing this letter to express our appreciation for your dedicated efforts and to thank your company, J&M Remodel and Repair, for the job well done in finishing the bathroom remodel in our house from June 21, 2010 to July 16, 2010. Within the three weeks of construction, your company and especially your craftsman Ehren, has shown diligence and dedication to finish quality work in a timely manner, which we really appreciated. This obviously greatly benefited other little pending projects we are handling (and expecting!). I witnessed Ehren handling many different tasks with enthusiasm and motivation, and when combined with his natural abilities it always resulted in complete success. He listened carefully to our requests, provided clear explanations and possible options and was also very quick to recognize important ‘situations’, which resulted in overall satisfaction with the finished product. Ehren’s attention to detail and finishes, as well as communicating required feedback for upcoming tasks in a timely manner has been very remarkable. Again, we appreciate your work and we would not hesitate to refer J&M Remodel and Repair to other home owners who are also in need of quality contractor services. This letter serves as a formal acknowledgement of our sincere appreciation for a simply outstanding job.”

…a wonderful job for me in my kitchen.

J & M Remodel: “J & M Remodeling did a wonderful job for me in my kitchen. French doors were replaced, and I am so grateful. I had more than 3 contractors come out and all they did was make minor repairs that never fixed the problem of water coming in. J & M were the first to tell me to completely replace the doors. It was just what was needed. No more leaks! I recommend them to anyone & everyone. Very friendly & extremely polite.”

J & M Remodel: “My wife and I recently needed our upstairs bathroom remodeled, but didn’t want to break the bank. We heard about J&M through another customer who had some work done by them as well, and recommended that we approach them specifically to save on some custom tile work. After our first meeting, it became apparent that these guys were going to be able to do much more than just tile. After all was said and done, we got our entire bathroom redone by them and are extremely pleased with the results. We have already referred several friends to J&M in the last couple months, and will go back to them for anything else we need in the future! Thanks for the great work!”

J&M did a great job.

J & M Remodel: “J&M did a great job. They cleared the yard of plants that were in the way, made repairs as necessary, primed the house, painted it, did the trim, all within a week’s time. They did a great job, but as I told Justin, the fact we got back to the house after they were done, and everything was put back where it was originally, made it look like they were never there. Except for the fact that the house was very nicely painted.
I will recommend them to anyone I know looking for any remodel or repair work. Pricing was also very competitive, and in fact very reasonable based on what I’ve seen out there.”
J & M Remodel created a spa-like bathroom and a pet friendly pool deck for a couple whose project was featured on the Animal Cribs show on cable TV’s Animal Planet channel during the 2017 season. The couple's Chocolate Lab Turf goes to work with his owner Sergio at the Seattle Seahawks training facility in Renton. Read more about the project and view the TV episode.
